Australian and New Zealand orders ship from a warehouse in that country. United States orders currently ship from Australia. The delivery charge for your order is shown at checkout before you pay.
Delivery charges
The delivery charge depends on the store you order from:
- Australia: A$12.90 for orders up to A$199, and free delivery for orders over A$199 (from A$199.01).
- New Zealand: NZ$12.90 for orders up to NZ$199, and free delivery for orders over NZ$199 (from NZ$199.01).
- United States: US$19.90 per order, whatever the number of books or the order value. There is no free-delivery threshold for US orders.
The Australian and New Zealand thresholds are measured on what you pay for the books, after any discount and before delivery, whatever mix of books, packs, deals or discounted books the order contains. Prices and delivery charges are in the currency of the store you are ordering from. If anything at checkout looks wrong, contact us before you pay.
Australian orders
Orders shipped within Australia are packed and sent from our Australian warehouse, by Australia Post or another courier depending on the shipment.
New Zealand orders
New Zealand is a separate shipping area. Orders placed in New Zealand are packed and sent from our New Zealand warehouse. The current carrier is Post Haste.
United States orders
US orders are currently shipped from our Australian warehouse, and the courier may change from shipment to shipment. Sending books from Australia costs more than domestic delivery in Australia or New Zealand, and we subsidise part of it.
Delivery times and tracking
We haven’t set published delivery windows for each region yet. If you have a date you need the books by (a start of term, a visit, a professional development day), tell us when you order and we’ll let you know whether it’s realistic.
Ordering for a centre, school or organisation
Choose Pay by invoice at checkout. A childcare centre’s invoice is due 14 days from the invoice date, and a school’s or a chain’s (a group of centres) 30 days; those orders can be sent before the invoice is paid. Personal orders and other businesses pay the invoice before we send the books. See the FAQ for how that works.
